@thewag777 So the only people left who will be able to afford to pay for ad buys on their own will be really, really, really rich people. The only way for average people to get an ad buy is to pool their money by incorporating, and you want to ban it. Genius!!!

@thewag777 Yeah, you're right man. Everyone has the right to assemble, but if they gather with more than one person, they can't talk. You've instantly disqualified yourself from being taken seriously.

Leonard's video was obviously bankrolled by MoveOn.org (or other similar Democrat party CORPORATIONS!) for political purposes. Its just more leftist Obamanoid class warfare bullcrap.
-
It is very telling that Leonard seems to long for the good old days when Politicians in Government totally controlled Corporations .... in other words fascism.

The larger and more powerful the Government, the more incentive there is to lobby and take control of that Government. Good point. Well Said.

@HowTheWorldWorks WOW. Go in to that guy's profile and have a look at what he said about Andrew Breitbart!

@Huesenheimer "people are carted off planes for being brown"?? You freaking kidding me? Nothing like like that has EVER happened. There was plenty of outcry over the Patriot Act and NDAA. However, neither of those acts actually violate our liberties, so you lose either way.
"Does the Constitution only protect the liberty of ripping other people off?" You've obviously never READ anything out of the Constitution. How about you come talk to me after you do some research for once.
-
@OddRobb Yeah man in a country where people are carted off planes for being brown, it's the rich white people who are truly discriminated against :(
Say, where were all you "LIBERTY!" guys when the Patriot Act or NDAA were passed? Does the Constitution only potect the liberty of ripping other people off? This is why people make fun of libertarians, because it's never been easier to tell if you're talking to a white person.

@HowTheWorldWorks I thought it had to do with them airing commercials for the movie within thirty days of an election. Corporations can have legal standing and due process without personhood.
"Free Range Studios could be infiltrated by the government without a warrant because the building is owned by a corporation..."
Yes, and surprise inspections are necessary to make sure that corporations are following the law.
"And the producers of the video could be thrown in jail if Annie said something the government didn't like."
No! Nobody can go to jail for using their free speech. People are still people, even if corporations aren't.

@451ianDragonist Dear Genius, THIS case was about the people making Hilary the Movie having civil and criminal penalties against them for the substance of the movie.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't fully extend to Non-Profits. By IRS law, Non-Profits cannot endorse candidates or fund campaigns. In most cases they have no lobbying rights either. I'm not sure if citzens United fuuly extends to Non-Profits.
