CA-- 40 has been tested in fuels including:- Gasoline Bio-Diesel Diesel Ethanol Fuels (E-85)

  • There's a better, all natural product for diesel engines out there called Fuelade. 100% organic.

  • @muskrat969 The amount of distributors is not an honest list. I, myself, am listed and have never sold a single bottle. However, companies that I am a dealer for, have it as a product. So I'm sure that is how CA-40 figures the list.

  • why not have an independent company test it and post the results. I think consumer reports is a relatively nuetral and qualified candidate. I used it in my 1995 Caddy Deville for a few months and showed small decrease in fuel economy. But I've heard that it performs well in larger engines such as a semi or a tractor engine.

  • Just like similar products and studies this stuff will initially clean your fuel system and give you up to 10% better mileage. But after just a few weeks it will start gumming up your fuel injectors and especially your fuel pump and filters. They would not spend the money to have EPA test it and they told me exactly what my results would be. It's true. For a week or two you will get better mileage. If it really worked everybody would sell it at their outrageous prices?

  • I used CA-40 in my old truck for a whole year and it really worked well in the beginning but at a price to the spark plugs. Check your plugs every two months for a build up. You would have to clean or replace your plugs often to help it work for you.

  • Well, then they must not be using according to the MFR's directions. With no other changes and/or mods, I've seen an increase of 3mpg using this product in my 1986, 1.8 litre, fuel injected VW. My car's 31mpg to 34mpg improvement is pretty close to their claim of 10% fuel economy gains. I am in no way affiliated with the individuals who make this stuff. I am simply a consumer who heard about it on Ed Schultz's radio program and tried it out. Gas is over $4/gal where I live. Thanks CA-40.

  • It would be hard to believe that it didn't work considering the number of distributors they have.

  • The rumor mill around the midwest is that the universities that tested it ran incorrect studies. I've heard that one of the two is well in to their second test of the product.

  • Two recent recent independent universities studies have found that this stuff is worthless.

  • Are there any real sientific profe?
