  • Nice machine, I have been machining a component stator and rotor with water jet cutting tech and yours looks on the right track! I would love to see the pressures your getting on steam from the solar.

  • We are currently perfecting nozzles and completing parabolic mirror with heliostat. Will post video when ready....

  • How much output can be produced by this. If you have plans for magnetic generator here is my advice for you:

-- There is a review of the current Magnetic Generators in the market

--- Go to Google and search for Top Magnet Generator

  • @happyfox711 I read about the failing at high rotational velocities- do you know if it was elongating equally along all axes or was it becoming oblong and throwing off the balance? I was thinking of a variably sized casing that can expand as extreme speeds are reached... not sure of the viability of it though.

  • @CaveManLabs Even with what you've noted, this is about 20% (from most setups) more efficient than more common bladed turbines. The idea behind it is not to apply a direct load to the shaft, but rather convert to electrical energy via a generator, which will then produce your work via a motor, electromagnet, or what have you. Tesla cited efficiency ratings upwards of 70%, but that was with water, and we are still trying to reproduce his results.

For the poster- that looks great!

  • Bonjour,

Je trouve votre réalisation superbe. Ou peut-on trouver les plans pour Répliquer votre travail. connaissez vous un forum en Français, car avec l'Anglais, ce n'est pas ma tasse de thé !

  • Thats a very nice turbine, too bad you only use the pressure to run it on idle...(remember its a jet turbine, not a waterwheel) I'd love to see this one if you crank up the pressure, give it some magnetic bearings that dont fail at high speed, and post a video where it shows f.ex.120.000 rpms. No Im not kidding, thats when it becomes efficient. one of the things that happened with the prototype of this diameter and bigger, is that the discs stretched out and started scraping the sides...

  • So you need a Parabolic Solar Steam-Generator.. to power a turbine... so actually, it's your Parabolic Solar Steam-Generator that is the interesting part.

  • First Rate, First Class!

  • Your outlet holes are much too big. You need to decrease the size and number of the exit holes in order to increase the efficiency of the turbine.

  • Hi. My name is Frank. I would like to buy one of your turbines. I can be reached at fscodenis@hotmail Thank you much.
