青空 "Aozora"

"Aozora" means Blue Sky in Japanese. The day after the huge earthquake here in Japan on March 11th was a beautiful sunny day. The sky was nice and blue- a total contrast of the damage that shook through Japan the day before.

I needed to relax my mind and do something with music. I wanted to work on electronic music, but in light of the energy conservation here in Tokyo, I thought piano would be better. I ended up writing this song as a prayer for the hurt people have experienced here in Japan.
