  • @linkleisure you don't necessarily need to have a UV map to put an image on your model. Depending on the model it can be done with a planar, spherical, cubic, or cylindrical projection.

  • @linkleisure You need to UV unwrap your model in order to put an image texture on it. What program are you using for modelling?

  • this is great im trying to do a color sand stone file , and am a little bit confused , is it color all the way through or just on the surface , any tips to wrap a photo around my model ?

  • man thats cool. I was thinking maybe the color was printed on afterwards but this shows its printed during. Do you know how they make the color in the machine?
