Venezuelan President Threatens Private Media

In these videoclips President Chávez reiterates that he will not tolerate a media outlet that is "at the service of coups, against the law, against the nation, against the national independence, against the republic's dignity...." He refers to RCTV as a "fascist network" and justifies his decision. "It's over," he says.

En estos cortos videos, el presidente venezolano anuncia otra vez que no tolerará ningún medio de comunicación que esté al servicio "del golpismo, contra el pueblo, contra la independencia nación, contra la dignidad de la república..." Se refiere a RCTV como un "canal fascista" y justifica su decisión. "Se acabó," dice.

Are you joking? Do you have any idea how little is seen in the news about what goes on in Venezuela every day? This isn't about politics, its about abuse of people by those seeking power.
