Part one of the SnoBird promo video from 1992. SnoBird is out of production. The rights & tooling for SnoBird were sold to an Illinois man who intends to resume production in 2007. Visit PRA.ORG for more about gyroplanes
My dad Dave Noack made these videos in 1992. He wrote the music, dialogue, and stars as the piolot. I remember him down in the basement editing all the footage of him flying. He designed one of the top rated gyros in the world at the time. Snobird was a huge part of my life growing up. Partner/investor Graham Dorland sued my dad and we had to sell the company and move from Washington to Idaho. I wish he still owned it! Ahh the memories!

Had one... but only had trees and private property to fly over. This type of terrain shown is the bomb.

Looks like a heck of a lot of "stick shake" in these videos. Rotors appear to be WAY out of balance.

Oh my God! I wish I could purchase one. Any idea what one of these would cost in present dollars, should production start back up?
