Marty Friedman vs. Chris Broderick Tornado of souls solo live

i know Marty created the solo, this battle is about the interpretation of the solo live, how they play it. comment with ur opinion. Marty has a beutifull style with weird scales that sound great, and is the reason because this solo is solo good: marty friedman. but we have to admit that chris broderick is awesome and a great guitar player, he is really fast.

@DFosterXP Marty Friedman is a fucking god. Pure genius. Look up some of his old shit and tell me who is the more skilled guitar player. He left Megadeth for a reason.

@DzDeadly1 I am pretty closed minded. Ill give you that. However I just don't think you understand on a musical level what you're comparing. Not bashing you, per say, but I think there's a handful of people like Broderick when there is only one player like Marty Friedman.

@371jon Well im aware friedman is a genius..which is why i said hes an amazing guitarist. Just becuase you write your own solo doesnt mean theres no one in the world who can play it better than u can..which is pretty much what youre stating. Which leads me to believe youre extremely closed minded and you didnt even acknowledge half the points I made. U somehow pieced it together that i was "bashing" Marty. When really, all i said was in "THIS" keyword.. THIS video...broderick played it better..

I got to agree the solo by Marty was not one of his better. Why not compare against the album version?

Anyway they are both amazing. I think Marty cannot play as many notes per second, but the ones he hits are the ones I want to hear.

Broderick might be a more technical guitarist, but i prefer Friedmans playing as he has more feeling in his playing i think. But both are great guitarists, and great for Megadeth. Also the video you showed of Marty didn't do him justice as ive seen him play that solo alot better than he did on here many times.

Its always easier for someone else to play a solo after theyve heard the ORIGINAL version played.
