RT as Public Enemy? Top US media boss ready to fight 'enemies'

The Chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors - the organization overseeing U.S. media directed at foreign audiences - says his organization needs to fight its enemies. I am not supporting any "enemy" of the U.S. here. I am simply pointing out the hypocrisy of the guy in the video. He is accusing authoritarian governments across the world of buying out media outlets in order to spread political propaganda across the world, when wealthy, powerful Americans such as Rupert Murdoch do the exact same thing. This, however, does NOT make me a supporter of authoritarian governments; it just makes me an honest American.

For what? I've never committed a crime. I have never supported or sympathized with any terrorist group. Unless, of course, the political elite views all civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq as terrorists, and any American citizen who sympathizes with drone attack victims is somehow a terrorist to them.

Please tell me, what position am I advocating here? I am simply telling factual truth: the government is overstepping the boundaries set by the Constitution.

Unfortunately, the truth actually does have two large groups of enemies:

1) The people who are unwilling to hear the truth, because it tears apart key, critical perceptions and principles that they profoundly value.

2) The people who don't want others to know the truth, because widespread knowledge of the truth would not benefit them.
