  • I have an 82 Toyota pickup that I bought six years ago for eight hundred bucks. Other that the carb not holding the idle it keeps me going all across Texas, literally!

So if anyone one knows where I can get a carb a bit cheap let me know. Thanks.

  • you could have had that one, but Ike floated it away.

  • What's that obnoxious whine-like sound in the background for?

  • That would be the key buzzer. Guess you never owned a toyota.

  • Dude its funny because I bought a 87 Toyota from my uncle and it sat in a field for like a year and a half I think. I went out with my boss with nothing but a spare tire to put on it and some gas and a air tank to fill the tires up. And dude she fired right up yeah man those 22R's are beast you can't kill them even if you tried.

  • someone must have filmed this using a potato.

  • @chris09jazz fuel filter fixed my idling problem.

  • ahhhhhhh the famous toyota key buzzer music to my ears lol

  • word, on the killing part.....

  • @Jac2Mac that sound is the door open relay buzzing when the key is in the ignition

  • @undergroundbasement At least it uses a timing CHAIN unlike other forigen made cars. Timing chains are tough but timing belts are not. What dumbfuck thought using a belt on an interference engine was a good idea? Jeesh it always ends in the pistons making love to the valvetrain.

  • sorry to say but the best engine ever is the 5.9 cummins

  • @chris09jazz dude pick n pull idk if u already got one but go there if theres one in ur town thats where i got mine lol

  • @undergroundbasement yea, other than the timing chain issue, these motors are unstoppable!

  • i would believe it. i bought a 89 sr5 4runner that sat for over 6 years for sale.fired right up without hesitation and didnt skip a beat.. with some jumper cables and a gas line leaking fuel like crazy as well as every fluid with it. i also had a 88 xtra cab that ran like a champ with a blown head gasket and a cracked head. started and ran every time. drove it like that for a good month. you cant beat an old yota. i wouldnt own any truck, but an old toyota.
