  • @aigarsramans its about not having one, specially when almost everyone gets it. you can call it also "special" or "original" sense of humor, but the outcome is still the same.

  • @ethrez not gettin' a joke is exactly about sense of humor.

  • @aigarsramans apparently, you just dont get it, thats not about a sense of humor.

  • @ethrez Apparently, you and I have different kind of sense of humor.

  • @ethrez People laughing isn't a joke, if it is, it's a bad one. And there are some goog math jokes, wich realy are math jokes, not someone laughing at someone...

personatly I haven't met with this equation, or if have, then i've forgotten and I see nothing wrong with asking what was written on the board, because it's been a while since I've had something to do with math...

  • @aigarsramans how can you not get it? it is about NOT gettin it.. they arent laughin some coded joke on the board which you should decode or solve, WE are laughin those mathematicians laughin at the mathematical problem. -> You cravin for somebody to explain that joke thru solving the problem is a DOUBLE FAIL.

  • @ethrez what?

  • @aigarsramans OMG really? :D

  • @aigarsramans Whats on the board is nothing but derivations of the original expression (top row). What I can make of it, it looks like an integral over a standard second-degree polynomial (ax^2+bx+c) over an index n with some additional clutter (the divider); The equal sign though suggests that its an equation.. Thus, changing a number to something completely different doesnt really do anything.

Whats funny about it is that changing the "two" for an "eight" really has no explanation at all!
