The reception is pretty good just about as good as a minitor. I like the small size and light weight compaired to the minitors. The only down fall is if you need to turn up or down the volume fast you have to fumble through the menu. Overall a great pager.

That's because Swiss and German pagers are mainly built to receive and not to scan the channel ;)

@BubbleRob19 Pagers are given to most non paid fire departments. Because volunteers can respond to calls when their shift is not on, they keep these to notify themselves of a call.
