  • I actually played this game in the summer of 1988 and this became my second favorite game next to Double Dragon. Anyone who played Vigilante in the arcade in 1988 would most likely think of it as a classic. The TG-16 version is a really nice home conversion of this awesome classic. Thanks for the review mate. So far I have watched most of your videos and still checking them out. :)

  • @deadlygroove1 I used to play the arcade version quite a bit. I thought that was pretty decent back in the day. Good stuff. Thanks for watching! :)

  • I really enjoy this type of beat-em-up, so I'll have to give this one a look.

  • @bartsimpson83 Very cool. Give it a shot...you might enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

  • "Ah come on, ah come on, ah come on". lol

  • @moonwhistle Lol! :)

    Thanks for watching.

  • At any rate Vigilante was an average arcade game so an average home port was to be expected. From a technical standpoint it's an amazing conversion untill you take into account that the arcade machine uses a z80 @ 3.5mhz, reason why the SMS version was so good perhaps?

This thing is a mere corporate e-peen for CES, the E3 of that time...

Chris if your review scared some players away then you did your job...

If anyone want to play an average game BUT have fun try Bloody Wolf instead.

  • Is it just me or does the main character's outfit look like Gohan's from DragonBall Z?

  • First game I ever played on my TGFX. Seven years old. Sweet, sweet memories.

  • I just noticed one R-Type references in the backgrounds :P
