Pat is back with a review of "Hero Quest" by Gremlin a board game conversion for the Commodore Amiga and DOS PCs.
I'm sorry for my, uh, short intermission but my life changed quite a bit. Not only did I have to move into a new house but I also became a father!
Yes, I now have a little son and I had to get into my new life first.
I'm back now and hope that you like this review - which actually was meant to be a christmas special. But since it's January already, here's the review without that annoying snow-effect.
Supplemental: Argh! Somehow, the commercial for "Hero Quest" didn't work. Ah well, at least we have the awesome voice-over. Sorry about that!
I still love the game today ...and especially the music ...just loooove :D

This is so nostalgic for me. I ain't played this in ages :D
Just the look of the game, and the intro, having not seen it for who knows how many years, it takes me back. I'm pretty sure I liked it back then, and nostalgia can be very kind to a flawed game. I think I remember that advert too.
Good to see you're doing videos again. Congratulations on the addition to your family. Maybe you can play the board version of Hero Quest with your child one day :)

@graafenblackpaw Thanks a lot! - You are, of course, right: HeroQuest is a very well made and a very faithful adaption. But as a computer game, it's just too boring.
It's really a shame that all this work for a game that is too faithful...

@graafenblackpaw Great game IMO I mean. I played the original board game with friends so I think I was used to how everything worked. :)
