Nelson: Allow the purchase low cost imported prescriptions

The Senate is poised to vote on an amendment to the broader health-reform bill that would allow Americans to buy prescription drugs from countries like Canada where consumers can get the same product for a lower cost. U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson is a staunch supporter of the amendment he cosponsored and for years has advocated for allowing people to buy lower cost prescription drugs from other countries. Nelson took to the Senate floor to urge passage of the amendment.
