Mel McDaniel,R.I.P., I didn't know Mel McDaniel,wrote this song,until I heard Eddie Stubbs-WSM 650 am, tribute to Mel,last night. That's two true performers,gone.Mel & Conway.I don't listen to Country Radio,no more,only WSM am650,late night 7-midnight.That's the Real Deal.

@MelMcDanielMusic Your one of the best yourself Mr. McDaniels. I've had the privilege of seeing you at the Opry, as well as here at home in Charleston, Illinois. Your ballads are so good. I don't think they ever got the recognition they deserve.
