There are a lot of fenced in larged campsites like this in Kruger National Park. I spent my first night in the park here. Notice the baboons and mongooses.

  • I spent a couple of days in Skukuza in a cottage AT THAT EXACT POINT(!!!) back in 1982. I saw a large troop of Mongeese there... wonder if it's the same troop ?

    The fences apparently have been converted to wooden "ranch" types - back in 1982 they were chain link. there were bnever any Baboons or even Vervet Monkeys in the camps back then...

  • The monkeys are called vervet monkeys or Blouaap instead of baboons
