Self Ballasted "Westron brand" MV lamps are not as their exciting as their ballasted counterparts... So I tried to make this more interesting by adding slow and fast motion effects.

The following is information on the box:
For Standard Voltage (115 - 125V)
Or High Voltage (208 - 277V)
Merculite is a self ballasted mercury vapor lamp which operates in any standard incandescant socket without the aid of a ballast, thus affording a quick cost-free conversion to more efficient and economical mercury vapor lighting.

Merculite combines 3 light sources in one - the best of mercury, incandescent, flourescent in one superior lamp.

Voltage: Merculite is designed to give optimum illumination and maximum useful life when operated at rated voltage. This lamp can be used on 50 or 60 cycle AC circuits where the line voltage is the same or within the rated voltage indicated on the bulb.

Operation: Merculite lights immediately and the lamp reaches rated light output in aprox. 3 minutes. It also requires a 3 to 5 minute restrike time if power is interupted. This time is required for the arc tube to cool before re-lighting.

Applications: General, flood, and area lighting wherever incandescent lamps are used.
