@xInnocentxDemonx Yeah. Matthijs has said COUNTLESS times that he never wanted to make a better film than The Thing. As a fan he felt it would be like trying to paint the Mona Lisa all over again. He only wanted to explore what happened in the Norwegian camp. I loved the prequel and is a great complement to Carpenter's masterpiece. Be a bit tolerant guys and stop the senseless nitpicking... You are only hurting the franchise by dissing the new film...

Am I the only one who seen JC's version, and still loves that one and this one ? Both are very great, I think this guy did a great job. It has so many ties to John's movie that it's just too awesome, and very great movie ;)
