A rough-cut video from PLATFORM's remember saro-wiwa project: http://www.remembersarowiwa.com/.
On Saturday 25th June, the Bernie Grant Arts Centre and arts & campaigning group PLATFORM officially welcomed the Living Memorial to Ken Saro-Wiwa to Tottenham. You can watch a rough cut video of the event, featuring Maria Saro-Wiwa, (Ken's widow) speakers from Platform, a statement from the artist Sokari Douglas Camp CBE, Zena Edwards (who exquisitely performed her poem inspired by an Ed Kashi photograph from the Delta - "Photo of a Girl"), John Baraldi (Chief Executive of the Centre), and Joseph Ejiofor, Councillor for the Ward. A resident dancer/drummer performed on the roof of the Bus, honouring each barrel, representing the Ogoni activists who were executed in 1995.

Sad he has to meet such a tragic end. However, we must keep fact(For sake of history & lessons for the living). Ken did not fight for the oppressed when he should! It's important to mention it, to avoid excuses on its repeated.
During the British backed Nigeria Genocide of Biafrans, Ken was in bed with oppressors of Biafran, at the so-called end of that (genocide) war, he initiated 2nd phase of genocide using 'Abandoned Properties' policy, taking away all Igbo properties in Port Harcourt etc..
