Redo, once me and a friend hung the food from one tree and a bear climbed the tree, crawled out on the limb and flipped the bag over the limb onto the ground, whereby he proceeded to pull food out without even scratching our new pack; in my opinion, one rope on one tree is not bear proof; two on two is, I think anyway. No fish?

Great vid! Those hammocks look sweet. It wouldn't be a Bdub trip without forgetting something.

nice video of bwca, I miss it, haven't been there in 22 years when I lived in mpls. After driving cab all winter and working in my studio I'd head for Grand Marais and Clearwater Lake up the Gunflint Trail. Question: Do you use one rope on one tree or two ropes on two trees to hang your bear bag? You can hear the Loons in the background. Did you see the aurora borealis? My first trip in 82 I saw them for the first time in the form of green curtains that expanded over the lake; awesome. bbbbboB

@bobhedstrom Thanks. I prefer one rope on one tree, but I'll use two ropes and two trees if I have to. No aurora on either one of my trips to the bwca.
