Not saying SUVs are bad. Just some of them are just ridiculously large and not as practical for the worlds current usage/price of fossil fuels. More SUVs need to adapt to more fuel efficient technologies.

I love how all the pro SUV comments include insults... shows the kind of people who don't see the future of all vehicles eventually going to hybrid or electric based engines.

I would never hope all SUVs have Hybrid engines. There isnt one automaker that is making an excellent hybrid. bbyguy5 u r just freaky-ass tree hugger

Need? What do you NEED a Lincoln Navigator for? Oh, I know, to make "Are We There Yet?: Part 3" with Ice Cube. LOL. I understand SUVs in general will never completely go away. But there sure are a lot of people who drive these large SUVs, aka: tanks, and don't have good reasons to be driving them around all the time with NO passengers and NO cargo, for which they were intended for.

Agreed 'dainger15'. Lets hope that LARGE SUVs become extinct OR that they ALL incorporate hybrid engines.
