Great looking bike. They only made them for about 2 years, mostly for Europe, which is why I guess the prices are going up so much now. Hang on to that one, I think you are sitting on a good investment..unless you want to sell it to me.

Mine was even the same colour, in those days you could jump on a 250cc at 17 with no experience, which I did, I rebuilt it and then got disqualified for a year after a speeding offense, so I sold it, but it never let me down and was great fun and very reliable.

I had one in Cardiff Wales,30 years ago,great fun, never broke down ( except when I crashed it )
