"Religion in the Public Square of a Pluralist Democracy" was presented on December 14, 2009 as part of Clergy Beyond border's inaugural conference. This is the presentation of Rabbi Sid Schwarz, founder of PANIM: Jewish Institute for Leadership and Values, author of _Judaism and Justice: The Jewish Passion to Repair the World_, and founding rabbi of Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation. He is the first of a three-part interfaith panel. The introduction is offered by Cynthia Schneider, distinguished professor of diplomacy at Georgetown and a former U.S. ambassador to the Netherlands.
