I've heard MP do some awesome growls and screams. But this is all fake. Its just a pitch shifter dropping his voice down an octave.

for me, who is just the right age for Squire to occupy a minor spot of musical emotional brain real estate, it was awesome to see Bungle open a show with stroke... because, they interpret the extreme, the raw, the heavy, that is in that song, but just couldn't be released back in Billy's 80's. at least that's what i like to think
