I guess Elite diaries weren't around when this was made. Following the pattern, I would guess that Elite Varrock diary would get you 256 battlestaffs. Or battlestaves for the European haters. :p
I hate Elite diaries. Except for 1 or 2 diaries I'm only like 1-3 tasks away from completing any Elite diary. It's frickin' annoying.

@bleach4life101 brackets can be deteremined to find absolute value in an eqaution... brackets are also used for solving problems beyound an expression with paranthasise.

You are correct in that 7 times 1200 = 8400.
However, its 7k (i.e. 7,000) plus 1200, which is 8200.
Nice try though.

I am not, actually. I'm a 23 year old with a bachelors in Theater, actually. Math was just a subject I was strong in.

absolute value symbol is |x| not [x]. The "[ and ]" are called brackets
