Yes the problem is its still a Man's world and if you take a GOOD look at her life the men in it took what they could and left her.Addiction her's especially was a disease.You don't leave someone you love high and dry when they are sick.R.I.P Judy.Love Barbara...

GOOD MANAGEMENT JUDY NEVER HAD!!As for the drugs M.G.M. can take a BIG bow SHE TRUSTED THESE guys grown men seen $signs when it came to Judy. As for the show's she was promised money she never got.Again every one knew she was fragile,so the MEN that ran the show put her in a room full of MEN no one there to support her and picked her apart!!! Judy tried to stop the drugs but being on them GIVEN TO HER BY HER MOM AND M.G.M. she found that she could not live without them.

She is in poor voice here. She would sing "Chicago" again near the end of the series run--one of the concert shows--and do a much better job of it.

As to discussions of the series "killing" her...she had put all her faith in it, her last ditch effort to get out from the grind of concerts. Of course, the idea of Garland every week in your home was unreasonable. She was too intense. Her personal issues killed her. Healthy and drug free she could have gone on singing way past age 47.
