In the middle 1970s, the Sandy Bay Historical Society (SBHS) published 'Rockport As It Was,' a photo album of old Rockport. I spent a lot of time at the SBHS going through the glass plate negatives of Charles Cleaves. 'Rockport As It Is,' reflects what I learned from looking over his work. Les Bartlett.
