Project Nintendo PRE ALPHA DEMO - Homage to 8 bit VideoGames

This is a video of a game I'm working on currently titled Project Nintendo. I was inspired by Mario Fusion & I wanna be that guy.

GIANT MARIO + NONSENSE BRICKS ARE JUST FOR SHOW

The game is very early in development but I decided to make a video of what I've made so far. Gameplay footage stutters because of the video capture software I used.

Gameplay will be similar to Mega Man but instead of fighting robot masters, classic Nintendo characters will instead be bosses.

The Castlevania level has nothing in it, nothing is animated, and no enemies, because I am still working on it. It will have all that and more.

Just wondering...........if none of the enemies hurt you, where does the sense of challenge come from?

right now its just a tech demo so I haven't implemented any damage, I'm still working on getting the mega man animations down. To be honest I don't think enemies in the mario stage COULD hurt you even when I do implement the damage. Maybe if I add lakitu with him throwing spike enemies down at you. Mario will def be a boss though. I'd say this game is 10% complete at this point, I still have MUCH more to do.

Thanks, I'm using Multimedia Fusion to make it, I still have a long way to go before its complete.

I notice the cursor disappears in the black background at the end. That could cause some aiming problems, as I'm sure you've already realized. Besides that and a few obvious bugs, it looks great so far. Keep up the good work. :)
