Hey all this was a request by Knifemaster 464, and it sounded like a great idea.

I'm no expert by any means, but I thought I'd talk about the differences and similarities between these two knives.

Thanks for watching and ENJOY!!!

  • show a video of your buck strider lock failing. ?

  • @ruben7681 sorry, that knife is long gone, but there is a vid on YT by hissatsu1 of the Buck Strider failing.

  • The Buck is the best choice if you fear that your SNG gets a scratch. Leave the SNG at home and save it for the next zombieattack, while you take the Buck out on EDC

  • @Spydercocaine Striders are the Zombie Head slasher for sure!!!

    Thanks for the comment brotha!

  • Hello JohnWayneColt45, great video by the way! I was wondering if you still had the Buck Strider SBMF an if you'd be willing to sell it.

  • @desawn1 Thanks...sorry I gifted that to a buddy right after I got my SNG.

  • The buck cannot endure a gentle spine whacking test.. I have two different models, the SBMF and the Strider-Tarani, they both fail.. Dangerous knives.

  • @Spydercocaine i gotcha. my bad.

  • @SpartanCombativesGrp

Stay in the context. I was talking about people (like many Starlingear Strider Collectors i know) who let their SNGs at home and waiting for a ZOMBIE Invasion. If you cant see the the fun in that comment, you need to go deeeeeeeper. Haha......read again and see that i was not talking about any hypothetical Defense Situations you mentioned. If so, i would neither recommend the SNG or the cheap Buck.

  • @Spydercocaine Yea. Dont carry the quality knife that you MAY have to use to defend your life. Carry the piece of shit daily. Good call.

  • @VideoScenario The blade ricasso hits over top one of the frame bolts.I sent you a PM better explaining it.

  • I want one in G10 know where i can get one nowadays?

  • @Spectre426

If you want a Terminator-knife i wouldnt think about a small Folder like the SNG.

Fixed Striders even look more like Killingtools.

There are so many nice SNGs that collect dust in shelves of Knifecollectors its a shame. Those Starlingear SNGs will get me as soon as i am willing to shell 1000 Bucks out for pure egoism and fun in steel-aesthetics.

  • @Spydercocaine Oh ffs, if I actually shelled out the money for a Strider SnG, I would want that thing to get scratches on it. I would want it to look like a goddamn Terminator that had been through a war, scorched and battered and still moving forward, a relentless unstoppable killing machine.

  • @JohnWayneColt45 Did you take a look at the Buck/Tops CSAR-T looks like they did a bit better with that.

  • Nice review. I have been checking out knife vids and ran across your vid here. I like these but I am also considering a fixed blade for my tactical vest.

Keep up the good work. I hope to check out your vids and see if you reviewed some fixed blades.

    :)
