  • If your intervalometer cuts out it might be because you have the Long Exposure gain reduction on. I think that if you don't put enough space in between your takes the processor can't finish doing its job before the next picture is taken and the thing eventually stumbles on itself.

    I'm not sure off hand which ISO I was shooting at, but it was likely at an F2 or 2.8; 9 second exposures @ 11-second intervals. I probably had the ISO at 200 or 320. Shot in RAW and post processed to TIF

  • This is wonderful! What settings were you using to capture the stars so effectively? I was running a 30 second shutter but the images came out quite dark and the intervalometer stopped after 50 shots or so...
