This is a quick tutorial on the basic mouse functions in Magix Movie Edit Pro.

This tutorial was made using Movie Edit Pro V16+ but will work with versions 12,14, and 15 also.

It is a quick explanation of the mouse functions and what each function is useful for while editing your videos.

The intro for this video was 100% animated in 3ds Max then edited and audio in Magix Movie Edit Pro. Tugfitz made the fine intro. Check his youtube channel out here.

  • really helpful. thanks a bunch. you just save me an hour of reading the manuel.

  • @nch4life Thats great news. Thanks for watching.

  • pretty dang slick there! I liked it! I think maybe the "stretch" function actually stretches the time of the clip, like the "speed" function in the video effects.

  • @BroBryce2009 yes, that is right. I figured it out after the video was made. Thanks for posting the info dude. You rock!

  • Thanks for your time and effort, keep the tutorials comming!

  • Helpful - thanks.

  • how did you make tat intro?

  • The stretching tool is for making slow motion clips (when you stretch out the time line) or time lapses (shrink the time line).

It is one of my favorite features in Move Edit Pro. Here is a recent time lapse I made: watch?v=SG8q2xB_R2w

    watch?v=SG8q2xB_R2w

You might want to use it show a time lapse of building one of your RC models.

  • Thanks for posting tutorials, I ordered this software and this is helpful, keep tuts comming! I think the stretching is for speeding the clip slower or faster.

  • @stevetinyhallman thanks Steve.
