@untouchblz yes I am but lived in the states for a long time so the boricua is a little gringofied ;) Ponce is nice love visiting there. When I do the tonkatsu I will see if I remember to film it and post it!

Mahalo for recipe, but every time I hear Iz sing this, or watch video of the Na Hoku awards where he sang this and made ho`oponopono with John, Jerome & Moon, I cry. can't help it. It is so touching. And I sure wish the kids would listen to what Iz said.

what is the chicken marinated in?

@waceface I used soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger. You can also use fish sauce as marinade to to add more depth. Thanks for the question, and for watching!

@CinemaAny Thanks for the comment, hope you do try this recipe soon! It always bring me back to the shores of Hawai'i. I noticed your hometown is Mayaguez ...fellow Boricua perhaps? My parents were born and raised in Ponce.
