  • The iPad (lamest name ever) it should have been connected directly to the camera for tethered shooting, but it can't.

And also I don't get why do the director of marketing is shooting on the beach on what it looks like a professional shooting.

But Lexar readers are great and I will buy this one for its features.

  • @alexlouder I saw your comment on YouTube and wanted to let you know that I am not only the Director of Marketing for Lexar, but I am also a professional photographer. Glad you like our products! :)

  • Won't work anymore. Apple have limited the power to 20mA from version 4.2 so this only works on older ipads that have not been updated.

  • Love the video.

Just bought this new Lexar card reader. Plugged it in, and "CANNOT USE DEVICE - The connected USB device requires too much power.

I would love to know if you have a jail break iPad or how you got this to work.

It is not a plug and play.

  • @JCPicache

Same...just bought one today so I could use it with my iPad and it don't work. Says it's drawing too much power. Disappointed.

  • @alexlouder he just put the usb stick in the ipad and connect camera to your upad via a usb cable and that's it

  • Just bought this reader, and tried using with my iPad and a Kingston 133x 8gb CF card. It doesn't work. Perhaps labeling this as fully iPad compatible is inaccurate. Are there specific Lexar cards that are guaranteed to work?
