  • I think generally you generalize.

  • I would say that most corporate-financed films that are truly works of art are created in spite of the corporate alliance, not because of it. If you read about the production of most masterpieces of cinema, there is a backstory of conflict between the creative leader and the financial backer. That said, it would be silly to proclaim that art cannot be made in any certain way. After all, is art not the great subverter?

  • "There is no money in art. That's okay, there's no art in money either."

  • @BuquiProductions Art is a reflection of culture, and culture if a reflection of a particular people. Hollywood films are not a reflection of Anglo-America if I may. They may form the majority of the people in America, but they are not the dominant "culture" in HW. Jews are to be objective. However, HW does not reflect Jewish culture, but rather a market for POP culture. Pop culture is a capitalist phenomenon which has allowed all of these degenerate films and other visual arts to come about.

  • @perceival That conflict between the money and the artist does not invalidate the art but rather it informs it. Limitations make art possible. If artists had infinite control over everything. they would never finish. A photographer or filmmaker relies on the chemical reaction of film or capture power of a computer chip. A painter relies on the paint and canvas to react in a particular way to a particular stroke. The artist manipulates these things, no doubt. But has in no way complete control.

  • the guy is more evolved than you morons throwing barbs and chasing your tales for paper with pictures of dead presidents
