An armored samurai warriors, Shinto priests, mediums and children parade around the rice field.


Otaue-Shinji (Rice-planting Festival) is held on June 14th at Sumiyoshi-Taisha Shrine, Osaka. This is the gorgeous festival in which various kinds of dances are performed in the rice field.

大阪府の住吉大社で毎年６月に行われる「御田植神事」　
御田の周囲や舞台の上で、多種多彩な
舞や行事が繰り広げられる盛大な祭りで、
重要無形民俗文化財に指定されている。
