Spectacular! Tierney always manages to get absolutely THE Best musicians to work with her! Sarah Vaughan would be impressed I'm sure... even if she sang it differently...

Rick: that is a bit deluded. A singer's responsibility is to make the song her own; Tierney has the absolute finest voice in Jazz. Her pitch and understanding of the music is unmatched. Sarah Vaughn--whom I loved--was wonderful, but even she would acknowledge Tierney's virtuosity. It is right there. Listen to her sing Indiana/Donna Lee sometime. She is extraordinary.
