Paolo Cesare Maldini is a former Italian footballer who played as a left back and centre back. He spent all 25 seasons of his career at Serie A club AC Milan, before retiring at the age of 40 in 2009. He played for 14 years for the Italian national team, making his debut in 1988 before retiring in 2002 with 126 caps and four World Cup participations.

  • beckenbauer is more complete, but maldini was MUCH better at defending!!

  • @chickenboy000 Maldini whanted to play more.. and he didnt retire at the top of his carere...like others top players.. and in 10-15 yrs he will be best defender ever..
