I first heard this listening online to a jazz station from the west coast. I had to stop what I was doing because it stopped me cold. Haunting, touching, exhilarating...just phenomenal. Back again. So beautiful. I am most smitten right at the beginning, but the entire song is a brain-alterer. I wrote somewhere "nothing is constant" and this song just popped into my mind, go figure. Had not listened to it for a while.
Another beautiful song in a similar genre by a similarly underappreciated singer is Lazy Afternoon by Jackie Allen. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
