Microflown Technologies offers breakthrough testing methods for noise & vibration based upon the Microflown acoustic particle velocity sensor, measuring the temperature difference in the cross section of two extremely small heated platinum wires.

Array applications include the flight cabin interior panel noise contribution analysis with corresponding transfer path analysis and a hand held acoustic camera for the near field.

A pair of three dimensional sound probes can be used as a passive radar, measuring both the geometric position and the acoustic signature.

Single probes can be used to measure sound intensity, sound energy and acoustic impedance more sophisticated than before.

  • @microflown so you get to read the speed of the air, but how can that turn into a precise sound recorder? and do you despise the up and down air flow? and is the recording omni-directional? sorry I'm just not an expert, thanks.
