How could it be that Ed Wood, Jr., the young man who wore a woman's bra and panties at the Battle of Tarawa in World War II, went on to become the Orson Welles of low-budget films? Through film clips, still photos and extensive interviews with the bizarre cadre of actors, ministers and girlfriends who were involved in such projects as Woods' "Plan 9 from Outer Space" and "Glen or Glenda?," this film explores the man and cult legend that has sprung up since his death. Wood's status as the "Worst Filmmaker of All Time" has brought him posthumous acclaim in both film and art worlds-a recognition hardly imaginable to the man who died penniless and unknown in the late 1970s.

You think the bandage scene in Jailbait could have been the inspiration for the very similar scene in Batman? Tim Burton is obviously a huge Ed Wood fan so it's likely he saw this movie!
I agree with DarkProphet94 and makomx! Bela Lugosi Jr. shows some very unpleasant traits. It's fair enough that he does'nt like the movies, but call Edward D. Wood Jr., a loser! I think is completely wrong side of. I am a great admirer of Bela Lugosi and have enjoyed much of his films. No matter how bad movies he starred in, so he always gave an outstanding achievement. It shows Surely most of an actor is a great talent: he can do bad to gold!
It's his ambition to keep making films that makes him beloved, otherwise there are not many people who would consider him the best. But his movies are still endearing even after all these years.Ed Wood knew that he was born to make movies, and his passion making them regardless of the critical backlash makes him so legendary.
yep...he dint even take care of his dad and now hes living off his name.. a true shame. At least ed wood gave the thing he wanted most at the end of his live, to act again (bad movie or not) some tiemes a man only needs his passion just to be happy
