Annie from Canada filmed this great video of her two horses playing the 'Broom Game' together! We can see many of the Parelli Games in their play...
Annie tells us that: "My horses are full brothers and have been together since the Sorrel one was 3 months old. They will turn 14 and 17 years old this spring. We've been students of Parelli Natural Horsemanship since 1999."
LOL. Love it!!!

@Meredith25600 Not at all. My Sorrel QH mare plays with the geldings and actually starts games and 'fights'.

My horses play games too, with anything they can get a hold of. The especially like to play tug of war with the jolly ball. But I have a question for the rest of you horse people. In our herd, only the gelding play; the mares never do. In fact they look at the boys like, "What are they doing?" So do the rest of you find a gender difference in horse play?

My horses play this game too - we live out in the sticks and are hillbilly sorts, so in our neck of the woods this game is just called "Stick"...but the principle is the same.

horses are so fun to watch....they would make a mess of the washing on the line tho wouldn't they....my black horse even went into the garage through a small gap and made haste of checking out all there was to mess up. haha. He would stamp on mats or bits of anything new that was out in the yard , jump over shrubs and stamp on ducks in the field. Not much got by him.
