  • Wow, Jane and Robert are so great together... I just love 'Father Knows Best'.. it's one of the best TV shows ever in my opinion.

Also, wasn't that wink that Robert gave Jane right before the questioning started the sweetest thing!?! ;)))

  • I think Miss Wyatt is simply terrific in Lost Horizon (1937). Given her role in Father Knows Best, you'll probably find this a little difficult to believe, but she actually has a nude scene in that movie.

She died in October 2006 at age 96. If you want to see pics of her abode in Bel Air, Google "Jane Wyatt" + "real estalker" and you'll find two links.

  • Great couple Great show, Father knows best

  • @videosoulbygregg If you get THIS TV they show it every day

  • Is it just me or isn't it very easy to believe Jane Wyatt could be Elinor Donahue's real mom? here is a facial resemblance and a personality one too.

  • We will never see the likes of them again on television. The 'What's My Line' panel.........And the perfect parents Robert Young and Jane Wyatt.

  • I think The Impossible Years was considered a big bomb which starred David Niven as the father of a teenager on the verge of becoming a woman. Although it got bad reviews...I have always loved that movie.

  • David Niven was one of Errol Flynn's best buddies. Together they must've swept many a young lady out of their bobby socks. And didn't stop there.

  • Two of the classiest actors ever. In fact, Robert Young enhanced everything he was in whether on television or film.

  • Didn't say Robert Young! Shame the show is not shown in reruns any more.

  • David Niven was fantastic. His books are well worth a read as well. So much gossip and behind the scenes from old Hollywood. This fella was in on everyhting! Tremendously funny guy.
