@AliEsteem because they are a company and at the end of the day they want profit-the creams probably don't work and even if they did it won't make someone ugly suddenly beautiful--it's just a marketing technique. (not a personal attack). Most of these ads for bleaching creams are extremely racist, misogynistic and shallow. :S
IMO opinion most people look best in their natural skin colour, but people should be allowed to try whatever look they like e.g. pale, bronzed, dark, goth, whatever.

@wawahwario There is when the message is "Light is gorgeous, Dark is ugly ugly ugly. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so dark you'll never get anywhere." "Use our fairness creams :)" That is why it is an issue.
