i said the same thing when i was 14. the truth is thats not a logical conclusion given the VASTLY greater number of musicians in this decade. the problem is there's so much out there to sift through, and so little time for most to look, the majority of people rely on mainstream CORPORATE based media outlets to tell them whats good. if you really wanna find good stuff you have to look harder, and most importantly be OPEN MINDED. there's more good out there now than there ever was before.

Umm i'm 14. thats not old...I phrased that original comment wrong. all tthe new pop and rap and r&b is shit. it all sounds the same or is a re=make of old stuff. music just isnt as good as it uesd to be
