Stream Transport How to download BBC iPlayer programmes

Download from BBC iPlayer .

IMPORTANT: At the moment the latest version v1.02.2171 doesn't work with British TV sites.
You should use an earlier version. I m still using version v1.02.2041.

The version at http://www.streamtransport.com/ does not work with BBC iPlayer


Stream Transport only works on the BBC iPlayer now. All other sites whether UK or USA no longer work with Stream Transport.

Monday October 24th, 2011. 12:30pm. Finally BBC iplayer doesn't work with Stream Transport. Its been great while its lasted  :(

@Aussiemarco I'm using it today on the 27th.

Sometimes it is the Internet Options of IE that affect Stream Transport.

Try changing the compatibility options to XP Service pack 2 and Run this program as Administrator by right clicking the Stream Transport logo choosing Properties and clicking on the Compatibility Tab

i downladed a show but the file wont play and even tried to change it to a mp4 file

@sweetmik3y the Downloaded flv files can always be played with VLCplayer. It is much recommended software and plays all number of formats and codecs.

WMP won't play them.

i discoverd this myself a while ago and was amazed at being ab;e to download iplayer stuff inc movies...it even used to work on channel 5 site as i had movies and documentaries from there..i didnt know it used to work on 4od...bummer..someone told me about streamtransporter in a forum..ages ago...

@willandgracescore You're right, its working now. But I can't download the 832 x 480 version of each show, only the smaller version.

@St4rdog You can use "Keepvid.com" to download Youtube vids but I haven't tried to download full shows.

Stream Transport is junkware. It doesn't do shit.
