did almost the same thing to my finger on an outdoor grill. didn't know it had happened till about 5 or 10 minutes had passed. the fixed mine too and you can't even notice now if I don't tell you. I didn't think I would ever have full use back, took about a year, but it's just fine now, some numbness on each side, not enough that I notice it. Hurt like hell for about a month though! I got a rubber ball and squeezed it all day long for days on end to work the strength back up. Good luck :)
