Hi jazzgirl - I believe you may know me from elsewhere as Rollo ;) That clip of Buster is from Grand Slam Opera (1936) which is considered the best of his mostly disappointing shorts for Educational in the 30s.
The bandleader is played by Busters friend Harold Goodwin who also appeared with him in College and The Cameraman.
Buster took the gag with the broom from his stage career as a boy with The Three Keatons - back then, his father Joe had been on the receiving end!

This was from an old TV show from 1962. That clip of Buster Keaton I had never seen before. I liked that the host of this show was Ed Wynn, one of the comedians from that time. I am glad you enjoyed the video and I hope other appreciators and fans of the classic comedians will enjoy this clip too. Harry Langdon seems to be getting renewed and much deserved recognization lately.
