Her Majesty, Mrs. Brown 1997 part 1

Queen Victoria is deeply depressed after the death of her husband, disappearing from public. Her servant Brown, who adores her, through caress and admiration brings her back to life, but that relationship creates scandalous situation and is likely to lead to monarchy crisis.

I dearly love this movie, for the most part because I'm such a fan of Judi Dench, but also because of the chemistry between her and Billy Connolly. I don't know if the real Victoria and Brown had such a subtle romance, but I like to think they did...
