It reminds me of my grandparents who both died of cancer three years ago. I feel like this song applies to them so much.

Watching this, and then watching the song in full, I burst into tears. I lost my mother to lung cancer as well. Now this song means even more to me.

I scattered the ashes of my darling daughter Katie Jean Jealous to this song off the coast between Cairns & Port Douglas Far Nth Qld Australia in 2009 but only now just read Pat Monahans meaning. BEAUTIFUL !!!

@YoukeepMeSmilin After a year of consideration, maybe sometime that would be beautiful trailed somewhere into the song, but every word is memorized, so I just can't see that. I still love this song and think of her every time I hear it, her hair trailing behind her as she steps with her silver Doc Martins stepping across a rainbow, overlooking a cosmic cloud.
